An MPV is a useful alternative to an estate car, offering a roomy versatile seating plan while occupying no more road space than a conventional car. Honda's Shuttle has been around for a few years, but was a poor buy until the prices were cut a year and a half ago. Now, the big Honda is a viable alternative to the Galaxy/Sharan and the Renault Espace. It's available as a seven-seater LS, a posher, six-seater ES, and 'Executive' versions of both. Engine is a 2.2-litre petrol unit.
